Aria was a name given by her father, Owen Morgan a very gifted traditional gospel musician who must have been discerning when he named his second daughter of three ‘an opera solo’. He was very passionate about music for his daughters and it was evidenced by long hours of classical piano and voice lessons given to them all.

Aria’s music can be best described as having strong gospel inspiration yet attributes her musical influences to the likes of Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Sade, Rihanna and Marcia Griffiths. Aria is from a family of teachers whose focus was of course on academics and career. She studied at the University of Technology in Jamaica, University of Reading in the U.K. and the University of New Orleans in the US where she studied up to a Masters level in Property Economics, Valuation Surveying as well as Business respectively.

Although she has been working with the government for all of her professional life, she has always maintained her involvement in music and dance touring locally and internationally. She later got exposure to singing reggae music when she started doing background vocals for artistes such as Ryan Mark, DJ Nicholas and Christopher Martin in studio.

When witnessing Aria in performance it is undeniable that she was born to entertain as she commands the stage and delivers an emotionally compelling and energetic performance from the moment she appears. Aria, also a professional dancer has used a combination of genres, Neo Soul and Reggae as well as Dancehall and Acoustic to communicate her warm and pleasant yet excitedly strong, infectious and dramatic personality. Since the official launch of her music career, she has released five singles so far with the latest single to hit radio airwaves in the USA titled “Goose Pimples”. The songs have all been received with positive reviews and have been getting airplay locally and internationally. It is said that Aria will be the next Jamaican female sensation to explode on the international music scene, evidenced by the progress she has be making since the start of her journey. “Aria’s music will leave you hooked while her performance holds you hostage singing her tunes long after the song is over”, says Ricki Erik, President of Realm Music Group LLC.
